I want to switch from MMDF to sendmail(ADMN) without disabling
MMDF first. I try to enable sendmail(ADMN) while MMDF is
still enabled using the custom(ADM) command:
# custom -p SCO:odtes -e SCO:SendMail
Executing cqs script ./opt/K/SCO/SendMail/8.6.8g/cntl/cqs
Enable complete
#
The message 'Enable complete' implies that sendmail(ADMN) has been
successfully enabled but this is not the case. MMDF is still
configured and running correctly and no sendmail(ADMN) files
have been enabled.
I then disable MMDF with "custom -p SCO:odtes -d SCO:MMDF" which is
successful. However, when another attempt is made to enable
sendmail(ADMN) an error is returned and sendmail(ADMN) is still
not enabled:
# custom -p SCO:odtes -e SCO:SendMail
Executing cqs script ./opt/K/SCO/SendMail/8.6.8g/cntl/cqs
Enter the full hostname to use for mail [abc.sco.com]:

CAUSE:
MMDF must first be disabled before attempting to enable
sendmail(ADMN). However attempting to enable both MTA's at the
same time should not cause these errors. SCO is aware of
this problem and is working to resolve it.
